WholeBody Massage Therapy, Inc.

My name is Eileen Monaghan and I have been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2005. I attended The Fuller School of Massage Therapy and continued to work there for the next 10 years. I became an Instructor in 2010 and teach the advanced classes Deep Tissue, Prenatal Massage and Oncology Massage. I have advanced training in Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Oncology massage and Massage Cupping and received advanced Certifications in Prenatal Massage in 2010 and Reflexology in 2014.

After having my daughter in March of 2015, I realized that I wanted more than what I was doing at the school. I knew that there was a community of women that I wanted to reach out to. I decided to go out on my own to build a massage business exclusively for pregnant and postpartum women. We are raising the future generation. We must be fully invested in our own health and well-being so we raise children who are more thoughtful and compassionate people. This is how we truly make the world we live in better.

“You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first”

Massage has been shown to help alleviate many of the symptoms of pregnancy including decreasing low back/hip pain, decreasing edema in the limbs, lowering anxiety and stress and improving sleep. I use a variety of techniques including stretches, Range of motion, active-resisted movements, myofascial release and reflexology to make your massage specific to your needs. Massage can also be beneficial postpartum. The aches and pains associated with pregnancy do not go away once the baby is born. You are also acclimating to your new life as Mommy. You will be in new positions to breastfeed or hold your little one. This new life can take a toll on your body. Massage can help with decreasing muscular aches and pains or, at the very least, gives you a little bit of quiet time (or a nice nap).

My prices are $50 for 60 minutes, $70 for 90 minutes and $100 for my 2 hour “body and sole” package (includes 75 minute massage and 45 minutes of Reflexology with a foot sugar scrub).
